One of the most intriguing and yet challenging parts of being a brand story teller is having a client with a clearly segmented target group. This gives us the opportunity to explore its characteristics, its way of communication and to learn the intricacies of speaking its language. Since the beginning of February we have the pleasure of working with such a client. Callista.bg is a new online shop which offers the best products from the gaming industry – peripherals, consoles, games and generally everything essential for а perfect gaming experience. But the brand’s mission is more ambitious than that – Callista’s plans are connected with participating in events and tournaments, supporting local gamers and most of all – creating a united and tight knit gaming community.
The fact that we focused on Facebook as a main communication channel won’t surprise anyone. Our work in this direction consists of scheduling monthly posting plans, handling advertising and creating engaging content – our most powerful weapon. Aside from the product posts, we fill the content calendar with thematic posts like “Stuff gamers say” and “Throwback Thursday” in order to provoke discussion among Callista’s social media audience.
Along with this, we launched a blog with diverse topics – interviews with Bulgarian gamers, event and product reviews.
We also provide banner design and video production for the promoted products on a monthly basis.
One month after we started working with Callista, we measured the first results which made both us and the client happy. The brand’s new fan-base on Facebook reached over 500 new likes and the sales are going well. The more important thing is that Callista has already built an engaged and active audience which is ready to share its gaming experience and associate with the brand. Therefore, the ultimate goal – solid market positioning and creating a loyal community of clients and friends, seems completely achievable. We are motivated to keep the initial speed after the kick-start and we believe that the best is yet to come.
